• Google OAuth: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture
• Quiz content: Questions, answers, and session data you create
• Payment information: Processed securely by Stripe — we never store card numbers
• Usage data: Session counts, player counts, and feature usage for analytics

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and improve the QuizLive service
• To manage your account and subscription
• To send transactional emails (receipts, password resets)
• To respond to support requests
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Stripe — for payment processing
• Google — for OAuth sign-in (if you choose this option)
• Hosting providers — for infrastructure (data remains in the EU/EEA)

4. Quiz Participants

Players who join your quiz sessions are anonymous by default (nickname only). No personal data from players is stored after a session ends, unless they create an account.

5. Data Retention

• Account data is retained until you delete your account
• Quiz session logs are retained for 90 days
• You can request deletion of all your data by contacting us

6. Security

We use industry-standard security practices including HTTPS, hashed passwords, and secure session management. However, no system is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
