Terms and Conditions
1. Acceptance of the terms
By accessing or using QuizX (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
The Service is provided by Delta Super Store SRL, a company registered in Romania, with its registered office at Nicolae Grigorescu Street, Sânmartin, Bihor County, Romania, Trade Register number J2021001116053, tax identification number (CUI) 44155511 (“QuizX”, “we”). 2. Description of the Service
QuizX is a platform for creating and running interactive quizzes, polls and live Q&A sessions, which also lets you give individual tests and homework, use template quizzes and the public quiz library, and generate questions automatically. We offer free and paid plans with different features and limits.
The Service is intended primarily for educational and professional use: teachers, trainers, presenters and event organizers who want to engage an audience. Participants (school and university students, audience members) join sessions without creating an account, using only a game PIN and a nickname; for individual tests and homework, students use the test code and the name their teacher asks for.
3. Organizer accounts
- You must provide accurate information when you register.
- You are responsible for the security of your account credentials.
- You may not share your account with other people.
- We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms.
4. Participant users (students, audience)
Participants join live sessions using only a game PIN and a freely chosen nickname (for tests and homework, see section 9). The organizer (teacher/moderator) is responsible for:
- Using the Service in accordance with the rules of their institution
- Informing participants (and, where applicable, their parents) about the nature of the data collected (nickname + quiz answers)
- Ensuring that the Service is used in an environment appropriate to the participants' age
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service for:
- Creating or distributing illegal, harmful or offensive content
- Harassing, abusing or harming other users or participants
- Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Spam or unsolicited communications
- Deliberately overloading the servers (flooding, DDoS)
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations, including the GDPR
- Entering any material you do not have the necessary rights to, or other people's personal data beyond what your activity requires, into quizzes, the automatic question generator or the public library
- Using tests, homework or any other feature to collect from students data beyond what the educational activity requires (for example, contact details, passwords or sensitive data)
- Attempting to get around the limits of the plans or of the automatic question generator, using multiple accounts for that purpose, or making false statements to obtain the special prices
- Automatically copying (scraping) the content of the public library or of the website, or republishing it outside QuizX
We may remove content that violates these terms and, in serious or repeated cases, suspend or close the account concerned.
6. Content you create
You retain ownership of the quiz content you create. By using the Service, you grant QuizX a limited license to host and display your content for the purpose of providing the Service.
Participants' and students' answers to your quizzes, tests and homework are visible only to you (the organizer) and are not shared with third parties.
You may copy, adapt and use the template quizzes QuizX provides in your activities (in class, at meetings or at events), within the Service. Although we prepare them carefully, we recommend that you review them before use.
7. The public quiz library
You can submit quizzes you have created for publication in the public library. Every quiz is reviewed before it is published. We may reject a quiz, stating the reason, correct its listing details (title, description, subject, grades, language or display name, for example to remove personal data) and remove at any time a published quiz that does not comply with these terms.
License: by submitting a quiz for publication, you grant QuizX and the other users of the Service a free, non-exclusive, worldwide license, for the full term of copyright protection, to view, copy and adapt the quiz within QuizX. You also grant QuizX the right to display the quiz publicly on the website (including in search engine results), together with the display name you chose. You remain the owner of the rights in the quiz.
You can withdraw a quiz from the library at any time; from that moment it is no longer shown publicly and can no longer be copied, but copies and adaptations other users have already made may be kept and used by them within QuizX. If you delete your account, your published quizzes remain in the library without your name.
You are responsible for the content you submit: you confirm that you created the quiz or have the author's permission, that it does not infringe anyone else's rights (for example, through text taken without permission from textbooks or other protected works), and that it contains no personal data about other people.
8. Automatically generated questions
The automatic question generation feature suggests questions based on the topic, text or document you submit. Generated questions may contain errors, inaccuracies or wording that is not right for your audience, so you must review them before using them. You decide which questions to add to your quizzes, and you are responsible for their content, as for any other content you create.
Submit only material you have the right to use for this purpose, and do not include personal data (for example, students' names). The content you submit is processed by an external provider, under the conditions described in the Privacy Policy. The number of generations depends on your plan, and the feature may be temporarily unavailable, changed or discontinued.
9. Individual tests, homework and classes
When you use individual tests, homework and classes, you (the teacher) or your school decide which students' data is entered and processed (for example, names on the class list, answers and grades) and you are the controller of that data, while QuizX processes it on your behalf as a processor. In that role, you are responsible for:
- having a legal basis for the processing and following the rules of your school or institution;
- informing students and, where applicable, their parents about the data collected, its purpose and how long you keep it;
- entering only the data that is needed (for example, you can use just first names and initials) and keeping it accurate;
- deleting data you no longer need and responding to requests from students or parents about their rights, which we help you with on request;
- how you use the results (including automatically calculated grades) when assessing students; we recommend checking them before you rely on them.
The conditions under which we process this data on your behalf are set out in the Privacy Policy and in our data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR), which we provide on request through our contact page.
Test mode measures (shuffling questions and answer options for each student, no leaderboard and no instant feedback) make copying harder but cannot rule it out; supervising the test remains the teacher's responsibility. Classes and progress tracking are available on Pro and higher plans, and the number of students who can take a test depends on your plan.
10. Subscriptions and billing
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Access continues until the end of the billing period.
- If you withdraw from the contract within the first 14 days, we refund the amount paid minus the time used, as set out in section 11. After that period, cancelling stops the renewals, without a refund of the period already started.
- We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days' notice.
- The conditions of the special prices for teachers and communities are set out in section 12.
- With monthly billing, the first month costs €0.49 (for accounts created through another user's invitation, the first two months cost €0.49 each); after that the subscription continues automatically at the price of the chosen plan, charged to your card, until you cancel. The €0.49 price applies once per account and does not apply to yearly billing.
- Before you pay, we show you what you pay today and later, the automatic renewal and where you can stop it. After the payment we email you the contract confirmation, with these terms and the withdrawal form attached.
11. Right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer, you can withdraw from a subscription contract concluded online within 14 days of its conclusion, without giving any reason and without penalty, under Romanian Government Emergency Ordinance 34/2014. The period starts with the initial payment, including when you start with the trial. We apply the same rules to every subscription bought online on the site, whether you use it for personal or professional purposes.
How to withdraw: use the “Withdraw from contract here” function, available in the site footer and on the subscription page, or send us a clear statement through the contact page. You may also use the model form below, but it is not mandatory. We immediately confirm receipt of your withdrawal by email, with the content of your statement, the date and the time.
Immediate start and proportional payment: when ordering, you expressly ask us to start providing the service before the withdrawal period ends. If you withdraw, you owe only the amount proportional to the time the service was provided until your withdrawal, based on the contract price (art. 14(5) of Ordinance 34/2014). The right of withdrawal is lost only once the service has been fully provided (art. 16(a)).
Refund: we return the difference without undue delay and within 14 days at the latest from the day we received your withdrawal, using the same payment method you used, at no cost to you. With the withdrawal the contract ends, access to paid features stops and no further payments follow.
Cancelling or withdrawing: cancelling the subscription in My account stops future renewals, and access continues until the end of the paid period. Withdrawing, possible only within the first 14 days, ends the contract immediately and leads to the proportional refund.
Yearly renewals: for yearly subscriptions we email you at least 30 days before the automatic renewal so you can choose whether to extend it (Romanian Ordinance 21/1992, art. 10(i)).
Complaints: you can send us any complaint through the contact page. For alternative dispute resolution you can contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection through its SAL platform.

12. Special prices for teachers and communities
While they are available on the pricing page, we offer two annual subscriptions at special prices, with all the features of the Pro plan:
- Teacher — for teachers and other people who work in education (for example, at a school, preschool or university) and use QuizX mainly for teaching;
- Community — for churches, youth groups and nonprofit organizations that use QuizX for their activities (for example, youth nights, camps, Bible study or volunteering).
Eligibility declaration: we do not ask for documents when you order; eligibility is based on your word of honor. Before paying, you confirm by ticking a box that you meet the offer's conditions, and you enter the name of your school, institution or organization. Making a false declaration is a breach of these terms.
Verification: we reserve the right to ask you, within reason, for proof of eligibility (for example, a letter from your employer, a staff ID or an official page of your organization), especially if we have reason to believe the declaration is not accurate. If you do not send us proof within 30 days of our request, or if you no longer meet the conditions, we may move your subscription to the standard price of the annual Pro plan, starting with the first renewal that takes place at least 30 days after we notify you by email. You can cancel your subscription at any time before the new price applies.
Other conditions: special-price subscriptions are paid yearly in advance, do not include a trial, cannot be combined with other discounts or promotion codes, and renew automatically every year until canceled. You can cancel at any time, and access continues until the end of the paid period. We may change or end the offers for new subscriptions; for existing subscriptions, any price change applies only from the next renewal, with the notice set out in section 10. A special-price subscription applies to a single account.
13. Limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. QuizX is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the Service.
We do not guarantee the accuracy of automatically generated questions, template quizzes or quizzes in the public library; reviewing them before use is up to you.
14. Changes to the terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes are made constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
